Lea + Trevor

October 8, 2022. The numeral 8 can be seen as a symbol of balance and stability; it tells of forthcoming prosperity. 

So there we have it, the 8th, and a drive to Little Falls, New York, where Lea and Trevor would exchange their vows in front of an 1800s castle, with 8 friends and family standing by their side.  Beardslee Castle is covered in beautiful trumpet creeper vines, which some say represent a fresh start or new beginning. 

But, I’m not into symbolism at all…

This castle where they chose to celebrate has burned down twice since it was built in 1860 – first in 1919 and again in 1989 – and yet it continues. Even with all the refurbishing that was likely needed after each fire, people chose to rebuild and support it, and it now serves as a strong and unwavering backdrop to vows of love and celebrations. 

And with that, I leave you to a glimpse of their day.
