A Couple of Cool Cats

When I joined Nicole at the Otesaga Resort Hotel where she was getting ready, the Backstreet Boys were playing in the background. 

“Who made the playlist?” I asked. 
“Oh, that was definitely Nicole.”

And I knew it was going to be a great day. 

Nicole and Kevin are the people you want in your friend circle. Calm, sensible, and yet not afraid to get low on the dance floor. They are detail-oriented with a flair for the creative, a love of excellent food, and an awesome sense of humor. If Nicole and Kevin throw a party, call me, I’m there. 

Their day was filled with the love of family and friends, amazing tear-jerking vows, sentimental speeches, their stellar playlist…

And the coolest cat I’ve never met. 

Well, I suppose he did make appearances during our Zoom meetings. John, that is. John Wick, the beloved member of Nicole and Kevin’s family that sadly couldn’t make it in person (?) to the event, but who was absolutely represented throughout the occasion. Scroll below for just a sampling.

With lawn games, an excellent view from Fenimore Art Museum’s lawn, the delicious-looking specialty cocktail, stellar food, and the always-filled dance floor, this was a wedding I was so honored to be documenting.
